Disability Writes On ...
We continue to encourage disabled people who are eligible to use Individual Budgets to pay for their subscriptions. We are in the process of sending out information about the site and how people can access it using Individual Budgets to every local authority in the UK. We want to hear how you get on if you try to get Individual Budgets to use Disability Writes full website service so that we can:
Identify local authorities who are encouraging and enabling disabled people to use Individual Budgets in this way.
Report on success stories as well as difficulties people experience in this process.
Collate and share information for disabled people who want to be able to use Individual Budgets in this way.
We will continue to keep you up to date with how this progressing. People now registered on the site will be de-registered once we are fully operational again and will then be able to re-register using the subscription process.
