Let it snow
.. there is always an opportunity for ideas for your writing. Avoid 'the sun is bright' and use your imagination to 'show' rather than 'tell' what the weather is doing. Here is an example: Telling = it is snowing; Showing = a blanket of white steadily draped the landscape. By 'showing' you create a picture for your readers. Have a go - create some short sentences that 'show', using the weather as your inspiration.
